Corrections Policy

Urban Chart aims to correct material factual errors promptly and transparently. The response should match the seriousness of the error and preserve a clear record for readers.
Corrections
A material factual error requires a correction note explaining what was wrong, what changed, and when the correction was made. A correction should not repeat private or harmful information more than necessary.
Updates and clarifications
Developing-story additions, score updates, and new reporting may be labeled as updates. A clarification may be used when the original language was accurate but could reasonably be misunderstood. Minor spelling, grammar, formatting, or link repairs may be made without a formal note when they do not change meaning.
Review process
Requests are logged, checked against the reporting record, and reviewed by URBAN CHART EDITORIAL through ZLS Editorial Operations. Significant legal, safety, security, or reputational issues are escalated to ZLS Executive. A request does not guarantee a change, but substantiated errors must be corrected.
Records
The correction request, verification record, and resulting editorial decision are retained while the related content remains published and for three years after its removal, unless earlier deletion is appropriate or longer retention is reasonably necessary for a legal hold, dispute, security matter, or legal obligation.
Social and video corrections
When a material error appears in a social post or video, the correction should be made on the affected platform where technically possible and reflected in the related website item. Removal may be appropriate when an item cannot be corrected without continuing harm or material deception.
Submitting a request
Send correction requests to contact@urbanchartmedia.com. Requests should identify the item, disputed statement, supporting evidence, and a safe method for follow-up. This public alias forwards to a verified ZLS-controlled mailbox without exposing the administrative destination.
