These Terms govern access to Urban Chart, an independent sports-media publication operated by Zero Light Syndicate LLC. By accessing the public website after the effective date, visitors agree to the Terms then posted.
Permitted use
Visitors may access the publication for personal, noncommercial use. They may not interfere with site operation, bypass security controls, scrape at a disruptive scale, impersonate others, submit unlawful material, or use Urban Chart content in a way that infringes another party’s rights.
Editorial content
Reporting, analysis, commentary, projections, scores, and statistics are provided for general informational purposes. They may change as stories develop and are not legal, financial, medical, betting, or other professional advice. Corrections and updates follow the publication’s Corrections Policy.
Intellectual property
Urban Chart’s original reporting, video, graphics, design, marks, and programming are protected by applicable law. Limited quotation and linking may be permitted by law, with appropriate attribution. No broader license is granted unless authorized in writing. Third-party marks and media remain the property of their respective owners.
Links, embeds, and third-party services
The publication may link to or embed services operated by third parties. Urban Chart does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, content, or privacy practices. Use of a third-party service may be governed by separate terms.
Sponsorships and commerce
Urban Chart has no active advertising, sponsorship, affiliate, paid-subscription, or commerce program at launch. If a commercial program is introduced later, paid placements, affiliate relationships, sponsor-supported programming, subscriptions, and merchandise must be labeled clearly. A commercial relationship does not grant a sponsor control over independent editorial conclusions.
Age and general audience
Urban Chart is a general-audience sports publication and is not directed to children under 13. The website does not offer visitor accounts or intentionally collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian may contact Urban Chart concerning information they believe a child submitted.
Availability and disclaimers
The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” The service may be changed, suspended, delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Zero Light Syndicate LLC disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the website. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Good-faith dispute resolution
Before filing a legal claim concerning the website, a visitor and Zero Light Syndicate LLC should attempt in good faith to resolve the issue by written notice to contact@urbanchartmedia.com. The notice should identify the issue and requested resolution. This process does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief, does not waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived, and does not extend a legal deadline unless the parties agree in writing.
Illinois law and venue
These Terms and disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise. To the extent permitted by applicable law, proceedings must be brought in an appropriate state or federal court located in Illinois. Mandatory consumer protections and venue rights remain unaffected.
Termination and changes
Urban Chart may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the publication, its users, its rights, or the security of the service. Material changes to these Terms will be posted with a revised effective date and apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.
